ROE is a group exhibition of emerging wxmen painters.
Realised as a response to the US Supreme Court’s ruling against Roe vs Wade in June 2022, the exhibition discusses the increasing sentiment of patriarchal oppression felt by our international sisterhood.
Half of all profits from sales will be distributed between US charity ‘Center for Reproductive Rights’, and London-based women’s aid charity ‘Women & Girls Network’. The artists wish to raise funds with an intention of supporting those feeling the weight of the court’s decision in the US whilst not forgetting the struggles which already exist for many women at home here in London.
Both original pieces of work and high-quality printed copies will be available to purchase. ROE is an opportunity to witness the gathering of some of London’s most exciting young wxmen artists, with works displaying a diverse variety of styles, converging together in solidarity for reproductive rights.
