This workshop will give you the map and the experience you need to discover the power of mindfulness, and a tool kit of real-world, practical techniques to overcome stress, anxiety and burnout.

Angus is the founder and creator of the deeply personal and transformative journey ‘The Awaken Programme , which has been taught to over 12,000 students since 2001, including to NHS staff and patients as well as major International Corporations. You will learn the key skills and insights from this transformative programme, and come away from the workshop able to reliably access the deep, imperturbable state of calm that lies within you.

For over 20 years, Angus has practised in the field of mindfulness and embodied well-being, teaching spiritual truths in a very engaging and accessible way. His two primary teachers were Eckhart Tolle (Power of Now) and Ajahn Sumedho (Abbott of Amaravati Buddhist Monastery).

Although he draws on his many therapeutic trainings, he is profoundly driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity to live a life free from mental and emotional suffering; that we can all move from one state of consciousness to another, from pain to joy, from suffering to peace, through the ‘journey of Awakening’.

In 1999, he began teaching yoga and meditation in UK prisons and went on to establish Battersea Yoga, one of London’s most renowned studios.

No previous experience is needed – everybody is welcome.
