Pollination and In Action will come together to highlight the role of skateboarding culture in building solidarity with Palestine through an afternoon of film screenings, discussion, music, art and more.

Hosted across Copelands Skatepark and Social, the programme be kicking off with a screening of short film, Walls Cannot Keep Us from Flying (2021), directed by Jonathan Mehring, alongside a Q&A with the film’s protagonists, Yasmin and Omar.

After, we’ll hear a panel discussion featuring speakers from Skaters Against Genocide and SkatePal, discussing the role of skating in building solidarity.

DJs will begin at 7pm in Social, with sets from Mahnoor, RONISA, MUSYS, Frond and Yasmine.

Throughout the day & night there’ll be a raffle running with prizes kindly donated by friends and partners, alongside stalls, a photography display and open skating.

All proceeds will be split three ways between Defense for Children International – Palestine, Team Skate Gaza and Omar and Yasmin.

This event is free entry, with a suggested donation on the door.
