Katharine Meynell has worked as an artist since the late 1970s across material media, using moving image, performance, drawings and artists’ books (including many collaborations with the Gefn Press).

Maynell’s interests concern the personal & the political, humour and the slippery line between document and fiction. She completed a PhD at the RCA on Time Based work in Britain 2000; and was Reader in Fine Art at Middlesex University, retiring 2011.
