About 7 Rooms – Dismantling Grief, asks how practices of dismantling, recycling and transformation might generate new rituals for those living with loss. Blurring the boundaries between live art, social practice and ceremony, cultivating temporary communities of care where loss becomes a topic for embodied enquiry.
Developed in collaboration with a group of co-researchers, the project unfolds as an open performance laboratory. Conceived as a site-responsive, durational work in Safehouse1, the performance invites audiences into a shared space of witnessing and reflection.
