The Holdrons Building is rich in history and mainly occupied by the Peckham favourite Khan’s Bargain Store. A small corridor to the right of Khan’s, Holdrons Arcade, houses 20 small retail businesses on ground level, plus Back Room, Peckham’s smallest events venue.

Holdrons Arcade has been widely acknowledged as a hotspot of new creative talent and rising street culture, as well as being a culturally diverse space which includes female-run businesses. It brings together different groups from Peckham under one retail roof.

Vogue UK says, ‘nothing beats Holdrons’ and Londonist calls it, ‘a corridor of wonders’.

There are currently some small retail spaces available for rent at a discounted rate. We are looking for eclectic emerging and micro businesses to join the retail parade from July 1st.

This is a great opportunity for new businesses to trial out a retail experience along Rye Lane, inside the newly renovated arcade corridor.

  • Units can be used for retail, maker/creative spaces and even studios looking for public access.
  • up to 3 month trial / short-term contract available from July until September 30th 2021.
  • Single and double units – from 60-120 square foot
  • If businesses would like to extend their stay at Holdrons Arcade, longer term leases can thereafter be arranged based on market rates.
  • Utilities on site: tenant toilet and kitchen, alarm system and shutters, CCTV
  • Transport: Peckham Rye, Queen’s Road Peckham, New Cross Gate, New Cross
  • Viewings: get in touch via the link below and we can arrange viewings during office hours Monday-Friday
  • Prime Peckham location; in Holdrons Arcade at 135a Rye Lane, SE15 3SN

Holdrons Arcade currently houses some of Peckham’s best-loved independent small businesses, including: Balamii radio station, Deserted Cactus vegan cafe, Yo Keshh nail art studio, Pishdar custom jewellers, Little Sister vintage shop, Peckham Vision citizens action group, Shep Sports Massage and Holdrons Hops craft beer shop.

The arcade has just reopened following a month of refurbishments. This is the latest milestone in the on-going restoration of the former Edwardian and Art Deco arcade. The suspended ceiling tiles from the – we believe – 1980s have been removed to expose a pre-existing high ceiling, including four wells which were once used for ventilation.

If you are a small business, emerging brand or creative, looking for a unit, showroom or pop-up space; and would like to become a part of Holdrons Arcade and the wider Copeland Park community – where special ingredients are creativity and collaboration; please apply below.
