Copeland Gallery is one of the most sought after contemporary gallery venues available to hire in Peckham.
A spacious, flexible 4,200 sq ft space, it celebrates its industrial period features with white washed walls and striking exposed concrete floors. Flooded with natural light, it has partitioned walls creating multiple display areas, a versatile modern lighting system and accessible shutter-door access.
Located in the heart of Copeland Park, with access to our in-house bar Social, it is an ideal dry hire venue for art exhibitions, public markets, workshops, private events and filming.
Established in 2013, the gallery has been a key contribution to the rise of Peckham’s art scene, housing hundreds of solo shows, group exhibitions and private views. Past clients have included Es Devlin, Hannah Barry, Wilfrid Wood, V&A, Peckham 24, UAL, Encounter Contemporary, Bo Lee Gallery, Ffoto Gallery, Abe Odedina and Tom Leamon, among others.
Our most high-profile space, this is a large, partitioned white-walled gallery space with multiple areas, shutter-door access and male, female and disabled toilets. All the walls are painted white apart from the lobby entrance which has an unfinished, exposed brick look. The roof has sunlights and exposed rafters and the new shutter system means you can cordon off an area depending on the nature of the show. This is an ideal location for small and large-scale art exhibitions, workshops and filming.
