The London based workshop and studio of Izzy Parker specialises in set design, installation art, prop making and art direction in lux fashion and hospitality. As the designer and maker working across a vast range of disciplines taking in visual arts, jewellery and interior styling, Izzy enjoys working with materials such as wood and metal.

With a Masters in jewellery design from Royal College of Art, she trained initially as a product designer and jeweller. Moving to Andrew Lim Clarkson Studio, she cut her teeth building sets and props for stills and moving image for the likes of Stella McCartney and Burberry but also styled live events at Sketch London and The Lanesborough Hotel for Plinth Creative.

Founding her own Peckham-based design studio in 2014 enabled her to work with high-profile clients such as stylist Bea Åkerlund, and she is currently set designer at Pentland Brands for Lacoste.

Her personal work is fuelled by her interest in cultural anthropology and human behaviour. She explores the potential of unusual materials, creating objects and environments which question how we relate to one another.

A recent installation piece – supported by Arts Council England – was in homage to her late father and touched on themes of addiction and the different states of perception of grief. She has also delivered talks at the Design Museum London and for Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design.
