The UK’s only radio station presented by young people, Reprezent 107.3 FM, has been broadcasting across the capital since 2011 and has its training and admin arm in the Bussey Building. Founded in 2002, it’s by and large a social enterprise dedicated to developing emerging talent.

Reprezent DJs and presenters are known for grafting in the music industry, running clubs nights and producing their own material, with past presenters including Novelist and Stormzy. It’s a ‘go to’ channel for young broadcasting talent and prestige media companies regularly employing from here.

Much of the playlist is by unsigned UK artists, from grime, rap and hip-hop, electronic and bass, house and alternative music, but there is a social arm to the station. With its mission to empower and inspire young people, Reprezent aligns itself with innovative brands, organisations and government agencies to deliver high impact, youth-driven projects.

The collaborations and experiences which Reprezent spearheads tend to drive youth culture and the station’s impact on London’s youth is undeniable. It provides free training and opportunities to give them the tools, skills and platform to be heard as the ‘Sound of Young London’.

It also campaigns on a range of issues that affect young people; domestic violence, unemployment or global current affairs – continually providing a relevant platform for young Britain to be heard. Tune in to Reprezent 107.3FM now, broadcasting London-wide on FM and DAB.
