Take aural delight IRL with live performances by GHETTS and LAVA LA RUE plus DJ sets from MARTELO and friends. THIS IS SPOKE Live is an interactive pop-up event bringing the world of the THIS IS SPOKE PODCAST to life.

The event comprises POP-UP SHOPS and INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS where you can make and take away a fanzine and create your unique piece of merch.

Expect idea sharing, discussions and a live recording of the THIS IS SPOKE PODCAST with special guests.

From cancel culture to problematic faves, microaggressions to mental health and everything in between. Hosted by The Slumflower and Suli Breaks, THIS IS SPOKE is an uncensored podcast that explores today’s most important issues with some of the UK’s hottest musicians and writers.

Zine workshop and a merch workshop all set up, this is set to be something pretty exclusive.

Workshop tickets include entry to workshops from 3pm and entry to performances from 6pm.

By buying a ticket to the workshop you also gain access to the entire This Is Spoke programme including live performances, DJs and hosted discussions.

Merchandise workshop hosted by Tottenham Textiles who are a small independent design and print company who’s moto is DO TEACH LEARN REPEAT

Using a process called sublimation participants will get the chance to create a unique shirt with a design of their own making. Any photograph or image can be used and replicated on the shirt but source material from Penguin covers to unique Spoke artwork will be provided on the day.

Fanzine workshop hosted by Jamie Shaw of Enlarge Your Memories and Matt Martin of The Photocopy Club

Using spoken word, creative writing and the Penguin back catalogue as inspiration participants will create a collaged zine and a photocopied double that can include anything you want from poetry to photographs to illustration.
