Future Ritual invite artists and performers with varied and diverse practices to join ‘On Discipline’. This intensive workshop looks at discipline in performance making – how commitment, repetition and training can shape the way we work. Explore how to make rules and break them – as you make your performances.

The workshop is led by Martin O’Brien. A leading figure in the UK’s performance art scene, O’Brien’s work uses long durational actions, short speculative texts and critical rants, and performance processes in order to explore death and dying, what it means to be born with a life shortening disease, and the philosophical implications of living longer than expected.

Participants must join for the full week.
