Artist assistant turned artist Jack Brook’s first solo show explores the tying to that which is lost that occurs in alienation and the tensions resulting from this ‘bondage’.

Brook works with a paste that shrinks back as it dries, re-revealing what’s underneath in a changed state, and a colour palette that reflects his background in cabinet making as much as art production.

The show features 25 of his papier-mâché based wall mounted sculptures, interspersed with three poems written three years previously.
