Beginning with a grounding and calming meditation with Nidra woven through, participants will then be led through a slow yet subtly strong flow encompassing the Chinese meridians of the season. Winding down with supportive restorative yoga and with a yoga Nidra. You could expect to feel deeply rested, restored and peacefully present.
This workshop is suitable for all ages and all experiences. Any injuries or physical conditions should be discussed beforehand to ensure the participant feels completely safe.
Australian-born and curious by nature, Lydia Baker got into yoga unintentionally and quickly fell in love. Since completing her initial teacher training with YogaHaven in 2017, she has continued her learning with additional mentorships and trainings, leading to sequences that are soft and slow, strong and steady, creative and free flowing. With special interest in the psychologies of the Buddhist text, Yoga Nidra and restorative yoga, Lydia hopes to create a space that is warm, welcoming, nourishing and restoring. Lydia’s classes are pregnancy-friendly and trauma-informed, with the language chosen carefully, selected and curated.
