Rabbet is a multidisciplinary art space located on the ground floor of the Bussey Building, featuring an art gallery, artist studios, and a bespoke framing workshop. Rabbet is run by a husband-and-wife team with extensive and diverse experience across various aspects of the arts.

Rabbet Gallery hosts a year-round program of events and exhibitions curated by a variety of artists and galleries. The gallery is available for hire, with a strong emphasis on prioritising artist-driven projects.

Rabbet Studios is currently home to the following artists, and they occasionally open the studios to the public:
Stella McGarvey
Reuben de Gourley

Rabbet’s framing workshop specialises in crafting bespoke bare wood timber frames and offering conservation mounting services for artists, galleries, and private clients. They use anti-reflective art glass as standard in all frames although other options are available.

Consultations are available by appointment, as hours vary weekly. If you are interested in booking in a free framing consultation or would like to find out more information about hiring Rabbet’s gallery, please head to their website.
