Studio Cymbal is a graphic design studio based in South East London established in 2014 by a graphic design Myah Chun Grierson. Our work include art direction, brand identities, music packaging, publications, websites and multi-media for artists, cultural institutions, music labels, companies and individuals.
Studio Cymbal provides rich graphic design solutions from branding to digital platforms through clear and meaningful organisation of information. One of studio’s most prominent collaborator is Eddie Prévost’s Matchless Recordings. This collaboration over 15 years has resulted in more than 40 album covers which illustrate the label’s diverse and dynamic improvised music catalogue, exploring themes of complexity and structure.
Myah Chun Grierson is a graphic designer, originally from Seoul, Korea. She founded Studio Cymbal whilst she was working on her research at Goldsmiths College.
